The Forum on Air & Space Law continues to be the one stop shop for aviation and space practitioners. The Forum has established two new committees to better serve the aviation community and we want you to be a part of these exciting opportunities. The first committee will be focused on general, business and charter aviation and it will be chaired by Christa M. Hinckley, LeClair Ryan, Dallas, Texas. The second committee will be focused on aviation and space financing and it will be chaired by Marc D. Latman, Smith, Gambrell & Russell, New York, New York. The committees’ names and their vision statements are:
- General, Business and Charter Aviation. The purpose of the committee is to be a resource for lawyers that practice aviation law outside of the scheduled airline world, such as charter operators, flight departments, agricultural operations and general aviation.
- Aviation and Space Finance. Whether it be aircraft, airline, airport, a space mission or general financing of an aviation or commercial space related company, this committee wants to be the destination of choice for in-house, government and external lawyers whose practices touch on the world of finance and leasing.
Please join us and be on the ground floor of shaping these committees. We believe that both of these committee will better serve our members who practice in these areas and provide a broader, more inclusive outreach to the aviation and aerospace community. The Forum continues to be the place for aviation and space practitioners to gain information, share ideas, keep abreast of developing legal issues and network with colleagues.
These committees are in addition to our existing committees:
