The Mecklenburg County Bar seeks a diversity and inclusion coordinator. This position has the primary responsibility for promoting diversity across the bar and coordinating the efforts of the bar's Diversity & Inclusion Committee.
Key responsibilities include:
Coordinating and proposing diversity-focused events and programs;
Promoting diversity through outlets such as the bar's journal and website;
Tracking data on diversity hiring in the profession; and
Researching and recommending best practices for diversity and inclusion.
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree from 4-year accredited university or college in a related field, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, and work experience; JD or relevant graduate degree preferred
5 years' experience developing or managing diversity programs
Experience in a professional services environment preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Knowledge of data analysis and standard evaluation techniques
