Gene BeckhamTIPS Members,

The Fall Leadership Meeting is only a couple of short weeks away! I hope you are planning to join us October 9-13 at the Minneapolis Marriott City Center in Minneapolis, MN. This meeting has so much to offer including 7 CLE programs and valuable networking events such as our Welcome Reception at the Mill City Museum, Sponsor Meet & Greet and Saturday evening Dinner and Reception. You will also have the opportunity to participate in our public service project with Stop Hunger Now, and I hope you will join me at the Denise's Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk. We've added a Chair's Challenge this year, so lace up your shoes and try to out run me for a good cause. Our goal is to increase participation by at least 10 runners/walkers. We hope to see you there!

In addition to the upcoming Fall Meeting, our robust Fall CLE schedule is about to begin with the Animal Law Symposium on October 13 in Jacksonville, FL, the Aviation and Space Law Litigation program October 17-18 in D.C. and the Fidelity & Surety Law Committee's Fall Meeting November 6-8 in Boston. I encourage you to visit the TIPS calendar to view all of our upcoming programs and meetings.

And a reminder that if you haven't yet had a chance to read your Committee's Summer Newsletter, you can conveniently visit the TIPS Committee Newsletter Archive to view all Committee Newsletters.

I look forward to seeing you at the Fall Leadership Meeting!

Best Regards,

Gene Beckham

TIPS Welcomes Section Sponsor CourtCall

CourtCall Logo

TIPS welcomes and thanks CourtCall for its generous support as a new Section Sponsor. CourtCall allows attorneys to skip the trip to Court! Over 4,000,000 CourtCall Appearances have been made saving upwards of a billion dollars in attorney time. With CourtCall, lawyers may make a telephonic and/or video appearance from their offices, homes or other convenient locations in over 2,500 State, Federal, Bankruptcy and Provincial courtrooms across the United States and Canada. CourtCall Appearances are suitable for virtually any appearance or judicial assignment and are particularly well-suited for Status Conferences, Case Management Conferences, Motions, Mediation and Arbitration Designation and Review Hearings, Show Cause Hearings and Trial Setting Conferences. Neither Court staff nor lawyers are required to coordinate the time or logistics of the call. CourtCall created the turn-key remote appearance program and with CourtCall, the telephonic or video appearance becomes a part of the norm, not a disruption. By simply contacting CourtCall in advance and paying a reasonable fee, a lawyer may make a CourtCall Appearance in conformity with a Judge's existing calendar schedule. The testimony of remote witnesses can also be quickly and easily arranged with CourtCall! Please visit www.courtcall.com or contact JC Welch, 317-413-7727, jcwelch@courtcall.com for additional information.

Complimentary Webinar: Cognitive Impairment

The program will continue to be available after that date, but at a cost to viewers.
