Promoting Attorney Health & Well Being During COVID-19

Thursday, March 4, 2021
Noon to 1:00 p.m. Central

This program is free of charge but you must register to attend.

Join us from Noon to 1 p.m. Central on Thursday, March 4 to learn about the results of the Illinois State Bar Association’s (ISBA) recent survey of how COVID-19 has impacted its members from current ISBA President Dennis Orsey. Licensed professionals Arden O’Connor, Founder of the O’Connor Professional Group (OPG) and Diana Clark, a former practicing attorney who now serves as Chief of Clinical Operations for OPG, will share insights on how to sustain emotional wellness during these unusual times. The session will be moderated by Amanda Tollison, immediate Past President of The Mississippi Bar. The program is free but you must register.

The pandemic has impacted the legal profession, our schools, and our families in ways that would have been unimaginable at this time last year. Not surprisingly, individuals are experiencing a wide range of emotions – from fear to anger to anxiety. As attorneys, you may be attempting to balance competing objectives, including how to maintain client satisfaction while quelling fears and anxiety among associates and also family members at your own home. This 21st Century Lawyer webinar will give you the perspective of colleagues in the legal profession, and coping tools from professionals in the mental and behavioral health fields.
