A Conversation – Discussing “Free Speech: From Core Values to Current Debates” by Len Niehoff and Tom Sullivan
|
|
August 17th @ 12PM EDT
Join us to discuss the book, Free Speech: From Core Values to Current Debates” by Forum member Len Niehoff and Tom Sullivan. This free one hour public event is open to all and will feature a conversation between one of the authors, Michigan Law professor, Len Niehoff and distinguished First Amendment lawyer Jack Greiner of the Graydon law firm in Cincinnati. There will be no CLE credit for this event.
Earlier this year, Cambridge University Press published "Free Speech: From Core Values to Current Debates" by Len Niehoff (Michigan Law professor, Honigman attorney, and longtime Forum member) and Tom Sullivan (former University of Vermont President). The book provides an overview of the values that free speech advances, the evolution of the First Amendment in Supreme Court case law, the core principles that have emerged from those decisions, and the current controversies that test our commitment to freedom of expression.
The ABA Forum on Communications Law and Communications Lawyer are delighted to host a conversation about the book between Len and distinguished First Amendment lawyer Jack Greiner of the Graydon law firm in Cincinnati. The discussion, like the book, should be of interest to experts and non-specialists alike. We hope you will join us. This is a free public event open to all and will be conducted via Zoom. There is no CLE. The Zoom link will be provided in your confirmation email.
