The Los Angeles County Bar Association is seeking a controller. This position will start in July 2025.

Duties
Key responsibilities include:
Overseeing all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, reporting, and audits.
Developing and managing the annual budget in collaboration with leadership and department heads.
Leading financial planning and analysis to identify risks and opportunities aligned with LACBA's goals.
Managing internal finance staff and coordinating with external vendors and auditors.
Serving as staff lead to the Finance Committee and liaison to the investment advisor.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation preferred.
Extensive experience with nonprofit organizations, including tax matters and governance.
Three to five years of leadership experience in finance and accounting.
Strong skills in financial reporting, internal controls, and software integration.
Salary & Benefits
Salary range $110,000-$130,000 per year depending on experience. Comprehensive benefits package.
